Elliot's Voice (or lack there of) Forces EITM Into Best Of Wednesday!

We started to hear it on Tuesday, but by this morning it was apparent that Elliot's voice needed to recover from the Canadian air he took in earlier in the week. He ended the show just after 8am...

EITM played Best Of and music for the remainder of the show. Tyler says that Elliot should be back in full force tomorrow...

If all goes according to plan, not only will we be back on the air on Thursday, but we will also be back with some very special guests!

Those "very special guests" will be Mark Ballas and Derek Hough of Dancing With The Stars and Ballas Hough Band live in-studio!

Elliot Met David Boreanaz at NHL All-Star Game!

EITM was in Best Of Monday because Elliot was up in his hometown of Montreal, Canada to take in the 2009 NHL All-Star Game...



During the game he sat next to fellow hockey lover and Bones actor, David Boreanaz. According to Elliot, the hand in the lower left corner of this picture belongs to Elliot.

That’s right. The Segals (see E’s hand?) sat right next to Bones actor David Boreanaz—or as Elliot recognized him, the guy from Angel, the “Buffy” spin-off. Fag!

On Wednesday 01/28/09...

Elliot will chat with Kristin Davis (The Manhattan Madam) who owned NYC's most successful call-girl ring, with a roster of 10,000 rich, powerful, and famous clients. Her book, The Manhattan Madam: Sex, Drugs, Scandal and Greed Inside America's Most Successful Prostitution Ring hits stores February 20th.

Channel 104.3 Changes Signal!

Attention Baltimore...

Channel 104.3 has changed its format signal! According to DCRTV, the station has moved its transmitter from northeast of the city to the FOX 45 tower in downtown Baltimore.

This means that Elliot's cackle and San Antonio's playlist should come in crystal clear for EITM fans who tune in from Columbia, Anne Arundel, and Howard counties. Thanks Clear Channel!

Clear Channel Cuts On Inauguration Day!

Clear Channel will be making those anticipated cuts on Inauguration Day, presumably to reduce any national press coverage. The company will lay off about 1,500 employees in an effort to save close to $400 million.

Could one of those employees be a member of The Class? Flounder would be the one to go if it were left up to my poll, with Kyle being cut second, followed by Tyler and Diane...

Come on people! The show wouldn't be a show without Diane! Also, every show needs a producer...Tyler! If the cuts affect EITM, Flounder or Kyle will most likely be the one's to go...Stay tuned!

Possible Cuts Coming To The Class?

According to DCRTV, a source from Clear Channel DC speculates big cuts coming down Rockville Pike:

"At Hot 99.5, at least one cut from Kane's morning show. At WMZQ, the morning team of Brian and Jenny could be replaced by Jeffro. At WASH, no changes, although one on-airer may soon be looking for work. At DC101, one possible cut from Elliot's morning show. At WBIG: Bill Stabler could be gone from mornings. Also, look for a batch of sales people who have not "met budget" to be shown the door. Plus, part-time promotions hours will be cut by 75 percent. And, at least one online content director will be pink-slipped."

So who could be the "possible cut" from Elliot In The Morning? The Class discussed it this morning...Flounder and Kyle feel the most vulnerable out of everyone, however nothing has been confirmed.

The cuts will will be announced this month, possibly by next week.

EITM Is Back In 2009!

EITM made it back to the airwaves this morning with Elliot vowing never to take a two week vacation again. Why? He was bored!

With a New Year came the new EITM studio: "Movin' on up to the 5th floor!" Diane said it was a bit strange being in a clean studio after all these years. Catch a glimpse of it in the new tease...

If you heard deep throat this morning...that was actually Tyler! He now has his own microphone...who knew he could sound so manly?!

Oh, I almost forgot the new show intro! If you wake up early enough to hear the EITM intro you know it's basically a combination of drops (a.k.a. sound bites) set to music. All of them pertain to the show in one way or another.

According to the Washington Capitals media relations blog, Brooks Laich (or "Brooksy" as Shaone Morrison affectionately calls him) will be on with Elliot at 8:30AM on January 8th...

Laich was voted 'biggest ladies man' by all of his teammates last year...



I think he actually has a girlfriend now...sorry ladies!
